THE LEATHERCRAFT MASTERCLASS BESPOKE APRON COMPETITION
Itโs time to make something just for you. You work hard creating leather goods for others, now itโs your turn. The Bespoke Leather Apron competition is underway and itโs specifically for people just like you.
Make a tailored apron for yourself - Post the pictures on Instagram - Win a hand crafted knife (possibly!) - Gain a larger Instagram following.
To enter:
You must watch The Bespoke Leather Apron course. (if not subscribed, you can purchase individually for ยฃ34.99 here).
Post a picture on your Instagram page of the leather you will be using, with all the tools you intend to use placed on top (or next to).
Post at least one picture on your Instagram page, ideally more, of you making the apron. You must also tag @leathercraftmasterclass in the picture and mention your entry into the competition in the description.
Email me your photos (by March 20th) so that I can post them on the Leathercraft Masterclass Instagram account: philip@leathercraftmasterclass.com (only one โLโ in philip please, itโs way more exclusive!)
Get making, voting starts March 20th!
All participants will have their work displayed on the @leathercraftmasterclass Instagram page where people can vote during the voting week (Mar 20-27th) by LIKING your entry. People will vote on our Instagram page for your apron, so be sure to tell your friends to visit our page to like your work. The entrant with the most LIKES will be the winner of the competition.
The grand prize will be a hand crafted exotic wood knife produced by Alex of @alexandr_byvaltsev Complete with U8 Russian steel blade.
This also includes a miniature โawlโ to adjust the blade position. Please note that there is a list of countries excluded from receiving this item. Please see the list below.
All aprons and photographs must be complete by 20th March when voting will begin.
Voting will be open for 1 week (20th-27th) before the winner of the competition will be announced.
Competitors pictures will be uploaded all at the same time for fairness.
Remember to take the best photographs that really show off your skill.
Aprons should be as individual as you are, it would be disappointing to see an apron that looks just like mine in the competition, otherwise that's going to be awkward at cocktail parties.
Voters will be encouraged to look for originality, inspiration, personality, presentation, creativity as well as practicality (it should look like it is fit for purpose and will be used).
Above all, have fun! ๐ So no eye gouging, fish hooking or kicking a downed opponent.
Questions are welcome!
