I don't know man. I don't know how confident I would be working with an iron that has damascus steel connected to Brass and hitting it hard. I can only imagine that with use, the brass will start to bend from the sides holding the piece of Damascus Steel and get rounded from the part touching the Damascus from the Top.

But hell yeah, they are really pretty to look at.
Photo next to Marlboro cigarettes destroys any credibility for me. However you forge it, damascus is beautiful.
