Some of you may have seen this exceptionally well made documentary on the people who work for Hermès
You may pick up a few of their processes but the film really highlights the mindset behind the workers and their love for what they do. It is also interesting to see artisans who only began working with leather later in their lives.
Get comfortable, make a tea, settle down and watch on a larger screen.. 😀
What do you think about the film and what have you come away with after watching it?

Giving this thread (pun) a bump, here’s a little something from Bloomberg and some other source online. Can’t quite make out the thread being used.
Comments welcome. Enjoy.

I'm blown away by the content here on the forums. Brilliant job!
I wonder what the name Hermes means for this company. All that comes to mind is Greek Myth and Alchemy.

Thank you Philip for sharing this! It struck me how wonderfully similar, sensitive, true artist like mentality all of the artisans express throughout the movie. Sometimes even their gestures, expressed how much love they put into their work, and how much of a bigger picture they all see. This company has assumed a great responsibility and it builds up an unbelievable legacy as patrons of the arts.
Ahhhh... I love this video!!! 😍 Thank you @Philip !!!
I love this one, it was sometime available via the Hermes website and it took me a while to rediscover it. A true gem!
