I feel a bit if an Idiot ordering from these guys after @Glenn Delmotte 's nightmare experience trying to order a leather splitter. Long story short he did not receive one, before then having to battle endlessly to get his money back.
But alas, I thought I would give them a try on a smaller item that I know they have in stock, as they showed on their latest Instagram post.
I ordered a Regad cork wrapped fileteuse handle to use on the RMLS Summit machine. I wanted something that says cooler for extended use so that I can keep the machine on for longer periods. I have used one before and I like it.
I ordered the handle on Black Friday as they had free shipping which was handy.
3 days later I emailed them asking if everything was ok with the order as I had not received a conformation of order, or a dispatch notice.
They replied: 'yes, i is send tomorrow regards'.
Nine days later on the 12th, almost 2 weeks after ordering, I email again asking for a tracking number.
Their reply:
'Hello, you have pass a order but you don't have pay the shipping, it's 10€, can you paid or cancel the order regards'
My reply:
I asked you TEN days ago if my order went through ok, you replied:
'yes, i is send tomorrow regards'
So why was free shipping (€0.00) an option? I see that option has now disappeared and is not available.
Why does it take 2 weeks and 4 emails to find this out? You were just going to keep my money and not say anything?
I request to cancel my order, this problem could have easily been avoided with good customer service.
Their reply:
'The free shipping is only for the france, it is no possible to offer for the other country. we have send two email. whe refund your order today'
Well, I seemed to have received all of their other emails, so the 'we have send two email' thing doesn't make sense. Nothing in junk mail either.
That was 4 days ago and still no refund and no more emails. So I have now had to file a dispute with PayPal. Luckily PP are usually pretty good with this kind of thing.
I really hate doing this, as I much prefer to report on positive experiences, tools and equipment in the world of leathercraft.
But I feel that not sharing this experience would be doing a disservice to the community. If you do end up ordering from them, please use PayPal or a credit card, otherwise your money is at their mercy and you have no leg to stand on.
I'm sure they have lots of satisfied customers, even on here, but this won't have me using them again, that's for sure.
If you have had a positive or negative experience with this business, feel free to share it for a balanced view of the company. I'm not here to hurt other people's businesses.

Hmm that's a shame! I did order uniters edge paint with them in September. The order arrived here quickly and everything was fine. I did pay for shipping though, almost 15 euro's.
Maybe you can consider yourself lucky...?
I wrote 2 Emails, never got an answer, so thats it. I could be a long time client, but they decided that they dont want my money...
